DAISUKE YANO is a photographer and visual artist based in Fukuoka, Japan. His work focuses on documenting art events, exhibitions, portraits, university-related cultural and artistic projects, and the quiet presence found in nature.

He values the atmosphere of places, human gestures, and the relationship between people, space, light, and memory. Through photography and short documentary film, he seeks to create work that preserves not only records, but also time and memory.

As an ongoing project, he continues long-term documentation of shrine ceremonies. His work also includes gallery and art event documentation, artist interviews, and short documentary films featuring artists, craftspeople, and creative spaces.

In addition to commissioned work, he continues to develop personal fine art projects, including a solo exhibition held at gallery cobaco in Asakura, Fukuoka in 2025, and a forthcoming solo exhibition scheduled for December 2026.
