ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Rose Exhibition was held at gallery cobaco.
I documented the public ikebana performance by ikebana artist Kiyomi Kataoka through photography and a timelapse film.
True to the work’s title, “Dance of the Spring Breeze,” a sense of wind gradually emerges as each stem is arranged.
The photographs and film capture the gestures through which a single work takes shape and the time that flows within the space.
