I observe gestures, traces of work, and changing light, seeking to preserve what existed just before it became a photograph.

Based in Fukuoka, Japan, I work across personal practice and commissioned projects as a visual artist and photographer. My work includes event documentation commissioned directly by a university, alongside cultural and art events, traditional culture, portraiture, brand documentation, architecture and spaces, and short films. Beginning with a conversation, I carry each project through planning, photography or filming, editing, and finishing.
